Dr. Julie Kim, M.D., FACP
Medical Director
Dr. Julie Kim is a Board-Certified Internist with over 25 years of experience and a global leader in Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy (MeRT®). As Medical Director of the Brain Treatment Centers in Southern California since 2013, she has treated over 6,000 patients and trains physicians worldwide in this innovative, non-invasive approach to optimizing brain function.
Formerly a primary care physician for 14 years, Dr. Kim combines deep medical knowledge with a compassionate, personalized approach—especially in treating autism, PTSD, TBI, stroke, and depression. She holds honors degrees from Kent State and Northeastern Ohio Universities and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Outside of work, she is active in community service and family life, guided by a strong belief in each person’s capacity to heal and thrive.
Kayleigh Prowse, NP
Nurse Practitioner
Kayleigh Prowse is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a background in psychology from UCLA and advanced clinical training from Boston College. With experience in pediatric and neurological emergency care, she brings a patient-centered approach to treating complex medical conditions. Kayleigh has also played a key role in clinical research, leading FDA-approved therapies and developing treatment protocols to advance innovative, evidence-based care. At Braincare Performance Center–Cardiff, she specializes in using MeRT technology to create personalized brain health plans, combining clinical expertise with compassionate, individualized support.
Our Neuro Technicians are all trained and certified at the highest standard of care, ensuring the greatest level of client care. All have undergone training through Wave Neuroscience's rigorous training modules.
